Current Event # 5: Technology Milestones and Innovations

Apple's
STEVE JOBS

Due: Friday, October 14, 2011
The world of technology stood still last week after hearing about the passing of one of its premier guru's of the past three decades. Steve Jobs had done what very few have been capable of doing by changing the face of technology and how our society operates on a day to day basis. Entreprenuer, businessman, innovator, creator, and visionary, are just a few words used to describe a man of great intellect and skill in the arenas of business and technology. At some point in your life, you have come to benefit from many of the great products or ideas that he is responsible for bringing into fruition.

Things to do:
Include the following in your blog post:-Your name/class period
Read the following article found within the following link http://gma.yahoo.com/steve-jobs-dies-apple-chief-created-personal-computer-231337236.html and any other article that you find interesting chronicling the life and work of Steve Jobs.

Paragraph #1:Upon reading an article about Steve Jobs, you are to write a reflection outlining the number of products you can recall coming into contact with throughout your lifetime which bears his imprint (i.e.: I Pad, I Pod, I Phone, I Mac, I Tunes, computer mouse, personal computer, etc.). Explain how either of these technological advances has helped or changed the way you experience life in comparison to people 50 years ago or longer. Also reflect and discuss the disadvantages that some of these advancements have placed in the lives of those who are not technically savvy with today's inventions.

Paragraph #2:-Discuss your opinion of how you envision technology growing or being stifled by the loss of Apple's innovator.
-Give supporting facts and include any personal experiences, devices, etc. associated with the work of Steve Jobs

I have come into contact with many of Steve Jobs’ inventions such as the Ipad, Itouch, Ipod, Imac, computer mouse and the personal computer. I have come into contact with these inventions either through school, friends or owning them. The invention of his I have had the most contact with has been probably the computer mouse which has helped me navigate a computer of course and to do everything I have ever completed on a computer. The Itouch I have also come into contact with because I own one and it has helped me through boredom and to stay more connected with the rest of the world even while away from home. The advantages of people who are not as technically savvy are that they usually end up with more person to person contact, have better grammar and english fluency and have more people skills. In my mind the disadvantages are not being as connected as often, not knowing as much about things that are going on in the world and not being able to contact friends and family as often as they would like.

I envision that apples’ progress will not really be affected by Steve Jobs death because he was just a figurehead. He did not create the devices, he simply presented them to the world. He was the founder of Apple, but like all great founders would most likely want his company to continue moving forward. I have been able to stay connected and find things our for research or tests because of Steve Jobs inventions. I think that all of his inventions benefitted mankind.

Throughout my fourteen years of existence, technology was the core of my daily activities and hobbies. I have owned and or came into contact with several of his products such as the iTouch, iPad, iPod, iPhones, Macs, iTunes, etc. I believe Steve Jobs’ work had paved roads to other ideas and inventions and expanded our horizons. Fifty years ago, people like us did not have the technology that we have today. It must’ve been a hassle back then. Now, some technology/consoles are portable and light, such as the Mac. iTunes lets us keep track of our music and devices. The advancement in technology have improved human life in numerous ways; despite that, some people are not used to this way of living and often have trouble with today’s inventions. If we keep going, we’ll end up losing a few people along the way. Even so, we cannot go back to ensure everyone can grasp the concept; we need to keep going forward and occasionally look back and view our progress.

At Steve’s death, I think it will affect Apple in the long run. Right now, the company seems to be getting on at a reasonable pace, the arrival of the iPhone 4S sparks excitement in its fans. Steve Jobs brought Apple to power, he “revamped the Macintosh line, revolutionizing modern culture and launching a ‘post-PC era’ in which personal computers give way to smart mobile gadgets -- the iPod, iPhone and the iPad.” He was the foundation of Apple and a remarkable human being that made history better. Technology is a highly competitive sector, and with Steve Jobs’ passing, I wonder if Apple can keep it’s lead in the advancements of technology.

I have an iPod shuffle 2nd generation, an iPod nano chromatic 5th generation, and I have a Mac computer. The iPod was very life changing when it came out, because you could listen to music anywhere and play games. When I got my first iPod, I was excited to get songs without using a disc. In the 60’s, people were listening to records and had to use a record player. The problem with iPods is people become very antisocial and don’t talk with people and listen to music. Also, people did addicted to listening and playing with their iPods, and some students play with their iPods instead of doing their homework.

I am glad that Steve jobs accomplished so much in his life. He made very photographic computers. I am sad that he died, but I think he shouldn’t have created anything else. He also retired before he died. Apple will create more inventions, people would be more and more antisocial and even more focused on their iPods. Apple created Internet on an iPod, which is incredible, and that is enough.

I have owned and used many of Steve Job’s inventions. From computers and phones to iPod touches and iPads. Through his inventions my life has become more enjoyable, entertained, and adventurous even (long story). Being in the first generation of people who have been born in the age of technology I feel like as the technology advanced so have I. growing up with computers makes it easier for me to use them because I know who they work and whenever an advancement comes out I know how to use that too. Compared to things fifty years, however, I feel as though the current technology has made people lazier in my opinion. I use to here stories from my dad of how he use to do things, compared to how it is now it just seems like everything is pretty easy access. People who aren’t into computers are going to, and already have a hard time doing work when almost everything is based off of a computer. They will get frustrated more easily and probably not do the best they can because of the unwelcome environment for them.

With the passing of Steve Jobs a lot of great ideas died with him, some that would probably make us one most advanced country in the world perhaps. After the release of the iPhone 5 I really don’t think that the Apple company will accomplish much in the future. I feel like it will try to invent something but it wont go very far and the company will crash.

  5. In my lifetime, I have used numerous iPods, iPads, iMacs, and other Apple products such as iTunes and computer accessories (mouse and keyboard.) Just yesterday I was at Southpoint Mall using the technology in the Apple store. You know that Jobs has produced a successful product when the Apple store uses iPads to give costomers information about their products instead of pamphlets or papers or something of the sort. I use my iPod every day, whether for listening to music from iTunes, exploring the internet, or playing a game that I got from the ever-expanding App Store. One of the downfalls of these products is that they are reducing the amount of time kids are spending outdoors, and the amount of time people spend together. This second problem is being compensated for, however, by the new 'Facetime' feature on the newer iPods, iPhones, and iPads. This allows for people to communicate with each other, while seeing the other person's face as opposed to just hearing their voice in a phone conversation. My parents are always telling me, as I'm sure many of my classmates are hearing the same message, to go outside more instead of playing video games and using my iPod.

I believe Apple will grow and prosper, but won't have any products that are nearly as revolutionary as the products that Steve Jobs produced such as the iMac, iPod, iPhone, and iPad. Apple will most likely continue to improve their existing products such as making an iPad3 and an iPhone5. Never again will there be anyone as brilliant and ingenious in the technology field as Steve Jobs. RIP.

I have come to know and play with these awesome gadgets by with friends, owning them, or playing with them at the Apple Store. These technological advances have helped millions of people with everyday life, listening to music, doing homework and other academically related things and etc. some disadvantages are that if you use electronical devices to much then you could get fat or get cancer.

I think that Apple will grow more slowly, but still have good advances in their technology and there updates. Also I think that Apple will have lots of delays due to Jobs death. Because in the article it talks about how many miss Jobs and even the president misses him too.

I have come in contact with many of Steve Jobs inventions such as the i-pod touch,i-pad and apple computers. I own a i-pod touch and it made life easier because i can listen to music and go on the internet at the same time when i am on the road. Millions of people use apple products. These technological advances have made people life's easier. Apple has made many people life's easier.

I think that apple will continue to grow as a company. Apple will continue to make new and improved products and sell worldwide. Steve Jobs death might delay apple for the time but they will continue to sell.

Before Steve's horrible death, He made many fine achievements. I have come in contact with all of Steve inventions, such as : I-Pods, I-Touches, I-macs, Laptops, and I-Pads. These inventions have made people's lives much easier. Many people could argue and defend that technology has made people distance from each other. For example, instead of making a way to see someone of talk to someone in person like they did 50 years back, you could just use any piece of technology. The defense would be that your distancing from each other. On the other hand it can be a good thing because it helps everyday life as well.

In my opinion the technology of Apple will still be in style for many many years, but not progress as easy as it is now. Steve Jobs is one of the most rememerble invention of technology. I also think he will continue to become more famous even with his horrible death.

Through out my 14 years of life technology has been a very big part of my life. Touch, iPad, iPod, Macs, iTunes and many more things have been huge parts of my life. All of these Inventions have changed many lives. Steve Job’s inventions have made lives a lot easier. Steve Jobs’ work has brought other ideas and inventions. Along time ago people did not have all theses types of inventions. 50 years ago people had to work harder to do things that now a days we thing is very simple and easy to do. Some disadvantages are people are acting more anti-social, people spending more time using there iPod, Macs and other inventions then doing other things with there lives.

I believe that this will slow “Apple” down some with there inventions, but I do believe that Apple will recover from this. I also think that some of The Apple products want be as good. The phone 5 just came out and I think that later in the future Apple will do its best to produce good things but I just don’t think they will be a good.

Before Steve Job's died he accomplished many things involving his Apple company as well as his technological knowledge. Ive used the: iPod, iTouches, iMacs, and iPads. All of these devices have made someone's life easier and more organized. Steve Job's incorporated his knowledge into the everyday American life and has improved society for generation.

Even though Job's has passed, I think the Apple logo/corporation will be around for many more years. Steve probably left his company to close friends and/or family with hopes that his creation with be a trademark in history forever. iPods, iMacs, and iPads to me will be in style and up to date even with Steve gone.

Throughout my life I have seen, used and owned many apple devices such as ipods, iphones, ipads, imacs, macbooks, and itunes. All of these products are very innovative because it seems that all the other companies are always struggling to catch up to things like the iphone. Apple products I have found are always very simple to use yet very advanced. People 50 years ago definitely were not as lucky as us because they did not have such ingenious products and technology.

I think that apple will still have great ideas and they will still continue to have popular products but they will not be nearly as innovative as if Steve Jobs was still alive. I think that if Apple is not constantly advancing as much, then it will be easier for many other companies to catch up so I think that it is important for Apple to find another great envisioner like Steve Jobs so they can continue their success.

Steve Jobs definitely revolutionized the computer industry in many ways. In modern times you can not ask one person in Chapel Hill if they have heard of Apple, and hear them say no. Personally, I have used many products Steve Jobs has envisioned or created. I am typing this on an iMac, I have used an iPod, iPad, iPhone, MacBook, Apple TV, Mac Mini, mouse, keyboard, and I have also watched Pixar movies. There are certainly some advantages, as well as disadvantages involved with technology advancing from the '50s to now. For one, people could be more inclined to spend time on their devices, rather than going outside and socializing. Also, it is very expensive of manufacture and sell these products as it is also expensive to buy them. The advantages far outnumber the disadvantages. They are great resources for education and fun. It comes in handy when you preform nearly any task.

I don't think Steve Job's passing will have much an effect on Apple at all. Apple is a company that continues to move forward, no matter what the circumstances are. I think apart from making the Apple headquarters sad for a couple months, nothing really will drastically change with Apple.

Steve Jobs has advanced technology a lot with all his creative and amazing creations. Because of all of these creations, we are now able to access entertainment, information, and much more no matter where we are. We have so much more technology at our fingertips unlike those who lived in the past generation. There are many, many advantages of having this, but there are also a few disadvantages of having so much technology. Those who are not as technologically savvy will fall behind with how to use this technology and would not be able to use such technology well. Also, many people will prefer to use this technology for their free time rather than reading a book or spend their time outside. Apart from these disadvantages though, I think Steve Jobs's inventions have greatly helped the world technologically.

I don't believe that Steve Jobs's death will affect Apple too much, as they will still be able to continue inventing new gadgets without him. He will greatly be missed, but he probably was not the only one who knew how to create all the inventions. I believe Apple will continue to progress with technology without him, but Steve Job will be missed for months to come.

  14. Apple is a massive company, with a wide array of high-quality products, including the iPad, iPhone, iPod, Mac computers and operating systems, and a (barely) functional music service. No, not iTunes, the other one. That said, I'm more of a PC man. All in all, most people in the country have benefited from recent technological advances, and the edge in commerce, government, and even warfighting that they provide.

I believe that Steve Jobs's death will be a severe disadvantage for Apple, because they have spent so much time and effort touting the supernatural prowess of their leader that they will lose in his death as much as they gained in his life. Whether or not he was the driving force behind innovation, he was certainly an excellent spokesperson for it.

I think that almost everyone in this country can agree and he has contributed to our nations advancements in so many ways. With everything from cell phones to computers his products have helped thousands have an easier day to day life.

I think that the death of him will be a huge disadvantage to there company's over all production. Most of the ideas came from him for all their products so i believe that there products will start changing over time due to the loss of his ideas.

Throughout my life I have used or came in contact with several inventions of his. For example, the IPod, IPad, ITunes, computer mouse, and personal computer. Steve Jobs influenced my life tremendously, and I’m grateful for all his advances in technology. I couldn’t imagine life without my IPod; I bring it everywhere and listen to it whenever I have the chance. It’s so much more convenient than CDs and CD players. I also use a computer mouse every day of my life, and couldn’t do anything on my computer without it. These new devices and updated technology may improve my life, but I’m aware they have their disadvantages for people who are not technically savvy. If you don’t know how to use modern-day technology, you’re automatically behind anyone who does. Some people prefer to do things the old fashioned way, but new technologies allow people to do things more quickly and more efficiently.

I think the loss of Steve Jobs is a major hit to Apple, however, I don’t see the company going downhill any time soon. I believe the company will continue to sell products and make money successfully. Apple will still be a major brand of technology, but they will never create anything as brilliant as they have in the past. Without Steve Jobs, the world of technology will never be the same.

I have come into contact with many apple products in my life. I remember when my dad got his first iMac. It looked like no other computer I had ever seen. We also had them in my elementary school. All with apple mice attached. Now my family has a bunch of apple computers, iPods and an Ipad. I use these products every day and they are great. If Apple never got made by Steve Jobs then things would be a lot different.
Fifty years ago computers were the size of a classroom, I can’t even imagine what that would be like; and how slow they would work. People back then didn’t get their own computers, only companies did. That’s why it was so great apple made imacs because now you can have your own personal computer in your house.

For me, I have come in contact with them all. Meaning, the I Pad, I Pod, I Phone, I Mac, I Tunes, computer mouse, and personal computer. Not only have I encountered it school, but also with my friends, and my family. From downloading music to my iPod, or playing games on my pad, I’ve done it all. It’s helped me change in life because without these devices, what is their to life? The answer is not much, due to the fact that most of our lives are made up of technology. Without these Apple devices, calling and contacting people would be a problem. Having entertainment with gaming is an issue, and also, faster and more powerful network on the iPhone would not be seen 50 years ago. All of these things contribute in the lack of technology five decades ago.
I think that even though Steve Jobs passed away, Apple will continue growing, having features in the devices that you could not even imagine. I believe Apple is still going to prosper because the IPhone 4S is coming out on Friday, so I don’t think that Apple will start declining.

Throughout my life, I’ve used many products created by Steve Jobs. I have an IPod, I use my parents IPhones, my grandfather has an IPad, and I use I Tunes for my I Pod. I Mac’s were really helpful during middle school because I was in a videoing class, and we used IMovie on them. These technological advances make it much easier for us to find, use, and give information. Fifty years ago, people didn’t have any computers, or anyway to contact people, besides calling or writing to them. If they wanted to look something up, there was no Wikipedia or Google. Information is found quicker and easier these days, and now it’s completely normal having all this technology. It can be a disadvantage to those who aren’t used to the sudden increase in inventions, because while they may not be keeping up with the advancements, everyone else is. This is an issue because it’s hard to live in an environment without keeping up with most of the population.
I think that Apple will continue to grow and develop, but no one can truly set the same example as Steve Jobs. It will always be looked upon as his creation, and I think that may be difficult for the company to overcome. For example, if they make a product that isn’t as useful as it could be, people may assume that it’s because Steve Jobs wasn’t there to make it better. Most of his products are very practical and used by numerous people, and hopefully Apple will be able to live up to that and continue to create more devices so technology can continue to grow and develop.

So far, I have used so many Apple products. I’ve used an iPod, iTouch, iPhone, iPad, Mac, and more. I think Apple products have definitely changed people’s lives, because all of the products they sell are so useful. For example, you can use the iPad to read a book, or their iPhone for business. It’s so easy to use them, so just about anybody can use it. I own an iTouch, and I don’t think I would be able to function too well without it. Using my iTouch is a daily thing for me now, because I can check my e-mail, play games, and listen to music wherever I am. But a disadvantage is that you can get too attached to it and it can distract you from the things you need to do.
I think Steve Jobs made many accomplishments in his life, and it’s good to know that he passed away peacefully. All the products he helped come up with are now a major part of peoples’ lives. With or without, I think Apple will still be a big company and will continue to grow bigger. Steve Jobs was a genius, and he will be greatly missed.

  24. I have used many of Steve Jobs’ products throughout my life. I have had an iPod and have an iPod Touch right now. I have used many people’s iPhones and borrowed iPads. I have also used the Mac computers and, of course, iTunes. They are amazingly built and all such incredible inventions. I have been able to experience all sorts of music and media because of these products. People fifty years ago had to literally be in the same room or space as another person to have a conversation with them. They had none of this technology. I can’t imagine having school work or even school without the technology we have today. It’s so convenient to just go on the computer to Google to look something up. Even this assignment is on the internet. Calling and texting people was also impossible fifty years ago. You had to write letters or actually go see someone in person to talk to them conversationally. There are some disadvantages for people who are not quite as good with technology as a lot of people. Many of these people are ones who lived fifty years ago and didn’t experience the technology then as we do today and weren’t ever able to learn it. My grandfather used to work for a bank and the last few years he worked there, they started making him use more and more technology. Near the end, he had to use a Blackberry and he hated it because it was so hard to figure out how to work it for him. I think nowadays, if you aren’t very tech savvy, then you are out of the loop. More and more people rely on technology everyday. I honestly can’t think of someone my age that does not have an iPod. I’m not even sure what to make of that.
Steve Jobs didn’t step down very long ago so Apple hasn’t been running very long without him. It’s hard to say what will happen to the company after it has been on its own for more than a few months. I think the inventions or at least the quality of new products will decrease with Steve Jobs gone but I am hoping that it won’t. I hope someone in the technology world will step up and keep the tech world running even without Steve Jobs. There are still many inventions out there, waiting to be made. Steve Jobs made amazing quality products. I know that this sounds irresponsible, but one time I dropped my iPod Touch from the second story of my house and it landed on hardwood floor and dint even get a scratch on it. It was completely fine and didn’t even stop the song it was playing when I dropped it. We often used Mac PC’s in middle school and I really liked working with them. I think Steve Jobs put 100% effort into his job and that why he had such success and Apple has such good products. He will be missed.

My life would be drastically without Steve job’s Apple Corporation. I have grown up never without an apple in my house hold. My family owns a total of 14 apple products not included the many headphones and chargers my family is in possession of. My sister has always been a fan of Apple products. She has owned 8 apple products in her life, An IPod classic, Nano, and touch. An Iphone 3g and 4. Two apple laptops, and an iPad 2. I have owned an iPod touch and shuffle. My IPod’s have made my life more interesting. It is defiantly easier listening, and purchasing must with IPods and iTunes . People 50 years ago did not have technology at hand as we do today, but it was not necessarily a bad thing. People did not have to constantly check email’s and spend money to have the new cool gadget.

I defiantly appreciate the innovations of Apple, under Steve Job’s reign as CEO. I still Might have had to of listen to music with CD players, and buy music at stores instead of
Itunes. My family would not have any iphones, and therefore possibly not have a
Computer like device at hand. I am saddened knowing that Steve Jobs is not on this

We use the Mac's the IPhones, the IPads, (e.t.c) to bring in the costumers.

Now that Mr. Job's past away, the Apple will still sell and produce the products, but no one will have the creativity like Steve Job's. I think that the Apple should continue selling the products in the honor of Steve Job.

Steve Jobs was a figure that changed the world. He could be compared to Edison Johnson, the inventor of the light blub. Steve changed the world of computers and made technology truly “personal”. He was a technology pioneer who made technology known to the common people. I touched my very first Mac computer in kindergarten. My elementary school had all Mac computers so I grew up with Mac. Although I am not typing this blog on an Apple Product, my family owns 2 iPod Nanos, the iPod Touch, and the iPod Shuffle. I also have many crowds of friends who own Apple computers and phones. All of these technological tools have helped the people of our generation in many ways. Most of the kids walk around at school with their iPods, do their homework on their computers, and do their social networking on computers. Some of the people who are not as technology savvy as others are at a disadvantage because they don’t have the advantage to Google a question in under a second or find out what’s happening on Facebook and Twitter instantly. Also, many people don’t use traditional methods of writing letters or making phone calls anymore. Now, it’s just “Text me!” or “Skype me!”. This is all because of Steve Jobs.

I think, although Steve Jobs was a really big loss, Apple will still be a powerful and well known company. Steve has left the company in good hands. Tim Cook, the new Apple CEO, has worked with Steve for many years and all the times Steve had to take a medical break, Tim was the person in charge. Tim is extremely knowledgeable in the area of technology and is the perfect CEO, other than Steve Jobs, for Apple. I think that the iPhone application “Siri” has technology in our generation forever. I foresee, in the next 5 years, all phones will have an application like Siri and technology will just become more and more advanced.

Steve Jobs has changed the lives of many. It is very sad to hear that he had passed away. I think that his inventions were very neat and i have came across many of his inventions. I bought the Ipod touch second generation about four years ago and it definitely changed the way that i view technology. About a decade ago, there were no ipods, mp3s and other music players that had a touch screen so i think that the ipod touches were a huge sucess. Now there is also the ipad. What Jobs had created is extraordinary. His technologies has made life so much easier for many people. He invented the ipod, with diferent generations, ipod nano, and ipod touches as well as the ipad and the mac computers. I come across his mac laptops and desktops all the time at school. Although these inventions are great, it can be a distraction to many. Students are more distracted to electronic devices like the ipod touch or their iphone. They are more likely to be on these devices rather then doing their homework or studying.
I don’t think that the company will really be affected too much by Jobs death. Although everyone will miss him and remember all of the good things he had done, there will be other great inventions by other people. The company still has many great products and they are still making lots of money so I do not think that his death will affect the Apple too much.

I’ve used so many of Steve Job’s products. My old school Durham Academy was a Mac school and I personally liked them a lot better than Pcs. They were easier to use and organize things with. I have an Ipod which is a lot easier to use that carrying all your cassettes around. It’s easier to connect with people via i pads iphone and i touch. I cannot imagine life 20 years ago.

I feel like technology will still develop, but have a little stunt in its growth as we wait for another great innovator to arise from any company. Great people have died, and their companies work hard to keep their companies run well.

Steve Jobs inventions have effected so many people of this generation, including me. His gadgets, the iPhone, iPad, Macbooks, and iPods have change the everyday lives of thousands of people. Now we can surf the internet, listen to music, make phone calls, text friends etc. all from 1 machine. His products are amazing, they all seem so easy and simple to use but they are all also extremely complicated. There are a lot of advantage and disadvantages to our society with these new invention, nowadays some people can barely keep up with all these new inventions that seem to pop up almost ever month or so, also some people become addicted to such items and will rather use their new iphone than do homework or go play outside. But most people can keep up, and know when to use their phones. Overall, Steve Jobs inventions has made almost everyone's lives easier with these new on-the-go gadgets.

I, personally don't think that Steve Jobs death will do much to apple. Sure, they lost 1 great person but there are thousands more like him working for apple with new ideas. Technology will continue to develop, at an even faster rate thanks to all the work Steve Jobs has put forth. Apple will continue to work, make huge profits, prosper and run as smooth as always under the new management Steve Jobs left behind.

I think that this article about Steve Jobs was interesting and informational. I also think that Steve Jobs is an intelligent person, and that he changed the way I learned a whole bunch. I have come in contact with all of his inventions including the iPod, iPod, iphone, iTunes, ect. These inventions changed the world in many ways; life is much easier compared to people who lived more than 50 years ago. And as the world gets ore technology inclined the people are too. Even the people who used to be not so crazy about technology are now excited about it. As life goes on and technology keeps evolving it can only get better and help you, even thought it is a very expensive tool to use it is very helpful thing to use.

Steve Jobs did everything in his power to keep this world turning but his time has come to step down, or rest in peace. And I am very overjoyed that he shared his inventions with us. But now that he is gone it is time for someone else to try and fill his shoes. Even though we might not ever have another person like Steve I think that technology is going to keep on moving. It might not move as fast as it use to, but it is not going to stop. All thought it might slow down.

Steve Jobs has really revulitionized the music business. He single handedly brought music onto small music divices. i can remember when Apple came out with the first IPad. It revolutionized the way people search the web. Now you can have everything you will ever need on an IPad. You can surf the web, play games, and listen to music all on one small divise. He also was the first one to invent smart phones. That was a huge invention with the smart phone you can do what you can do on a comouter on a phone.

I fell that Apple with struggle for a little bit. Steve Jobs was a great inavator. When you loose that type of leadership it sometimes takes a while for you to get back to what you were doing before. In the long run I think Apple will be fine and keep inventing grat new products.

Personally I have had contact with many of Steve Job's inventions. For example the iPhone, iPad, iPod,and also iTunes. I use my ipod and iTunes account just about everyday. I also use a computer mouse every single time I use the computer, because I don't have a laptop. The iPod has helped me a lot because if I need to look something up quickly, or check my email I can do it right there. These objects make contact very different from what it was like 50 years ago. Now we can do just about everything on computer, even see eachother as we speak. This will also make some peoples lives difficult because schools even assigns projects that involve different computer programs and websites.

I think that Steve Job's inventions helped everyone, and that he did more then enough for everyone else. I also think that Apple will be able to continue comeing out with new and improved things. I think this because Steve was the one who came up with the ideas, but he did not actually make them all. All of Steve Job's inventions have helped everyone tons, but I do believe that Apple will eventually be able to continue will their work, and invent many new objects.

  34. I can recall using many different devices that have been created by Steve Jobs. I have listened to music on iPods and iTunes, and I have certainly had to use a computer in everyday life. The use of the technology that Jobs developed has had a huge role in allowing people in our society to connect to one another regardless of distance, as well as making several tasks much easier and more convenient. For example, the widespread use of personal computers has made it possible for the public to access information on the internet, to use word processing, to listen to and write music more easily, and to communicate with others instantly. iPods have also made a difference in the way people think about and listen to music, because they make it possible to hear music that you like wherever you go. I think that there are advantages to not using some of this modern technology. These include social skills like better conversation skills, as well as more patience with people and with receiving information. However, those who do not have the advantages of using modern technology may find it harder to communicate remotely.

I think that technology will continue to grow and develop even without Steve Jobs being alive. Although he has made a significant contribution to the lives of people today, there will likely continue to be more innovations made by Apple and by other companies in the world of technology. Apple’s new CEO, Tim Cook, has had experience leading the company in Jobs’ absence and is very knowledgeable about technology, making it likely that the company will continue to succeed. And, as with all businesses, new leaders and innovators will probably take over, inventing new devices using their own ideas. However, I don’t expect anything quite as revolutionary as the iPod, iMac, iPhone and iPad to come around anytime soon, since the influence of Steve Jobs on these items’ success and popularity cannot be replicated.

Over the years I have come across a countless number of Apple products. I have a number of Apple products ranging from, the iPods to iPads, to Macs, to iPhones. My life as well as most other teenagers life has basically revolved around Apple products. Fifty years ago computers were as big as classrooms. Now some of them can fit in the palm of your hand. I think people that are used to the old fashioned technology are having a difficult time adapting to new technology. People that are of older generations will have a very tough time following the new innovations in technology.
Technology will move forward but it will definitely be slowed due to the death of a great innovator. Jobs came up with ideas but he had a lot of help from others with his ideas as well. The the latest iPhone news was announced the CEO, Steve Wozniak, did a fantastic job introducing the product. Therefore I think Apple and the rest of the world of technology.

I haven’t bought any of his recent products but my brothers have I-touches that came out in 2007. I see a lot of kids around the school with an I -touch. It is the most advanced portable music player right now. These advance technologies that Steve Jobs created have really helped people communicate with others and also other fun things like games and e-mail. The products he has inspired are very useful to millions of people around the United States and other countries. I use his products daily my IPod and a computer.
I am very sorry for the loss of Steve Jobs. He was a very important man to everybody. I used his products all the time like the IPod and computer. My first contact with an apple product was in elementary school, where I first saw a mac. It was the kind that came in different colors, unlike the white ones we see today. A couple of years later, I got my iPod touch, and with it, iTunes. I was fascinated with these things at the time, and it changed my perspective about technology. This little touch screen made me realize that technology wasn’t all about faster computers, but also innovation. This little touch screen also had some influences on people who maybe didn’t have a technologically all-knowing person in the house. The smooth interface and easy selection method of just tapping on the thing you want saved many people headaches.

Steve Jobs’ death will not affect Apple as much as many people say it will. He simply managed the company, presented the new devices, and, at best, presented some ideas. Not to say he wasn’t good at these things, after all, that’s the reason Apple is such a large company these days. However, his influence on the final product was rather debatable, at best. He most likely did have the power to reject a certain design, but in all honestly, some credit should go to the other employees of Apple.

I believe that Steve jobs is one of the greatest creators of our time. To be honest I didn't even know who he was until now but that doesn't make any difference. Steve Jobs not only left advances in technology but advances in social networking and ways we can make our lives easier. I've used some of his inventions like the ipod, itouch, and the imac. I love to listen to music and Steve Jobs adds a easier way to listen to music so instead of buying a cd he brought ways to sync hundreds of songs into one small player. That's pretty cool so I think we're having a better time than the people 50 years ago. To some people his inventions might have brought dissapointment, like a parent who has a child texting every second or not taking his earbuds off for even one second.
Encouragement to make more advances in today's technology will probably come into the heads of many people. I believe that Steve Jobs was like an icon to many people. He's like an example for people to improve our technology. His death will bring a sudden stop to advancements in technology but I don't think it'll cause a huge downfall. I believe Apple will still stand tall in the future.

I have been influenced by Apple products, and therefore by Steve Jobs in many ways. I have used and owned many devices such as Apple computers, iPods, and iTunes. Using iTunes to buy music is much more convenient then having to buy CDs, and an iPod lets you listen to your music anywhere. Computers have made many tasks much more manageable; for example, the internet has made information more accessible to many people, and it is much easier to type documents on computers than using typewriters, or writing by hand. While I think all of these things are very helpful, and I am grateful that these advances have been made in technology, I think that it has also negatively impacted us. I think people spend more time on computers and other devices that we don't spend as much time with our friends, and enjoying ourselves. We also have become much lazier, and less self-sufficient. I think that Steve Job's creations have influenced many people.

Even though Steve Jobs has died I don't think anything major will happen to Apple. After mourning him they will get back to work, continuing to make many advances in technology. Employers at Apple, whether or not they ever worked directly with Steve Jobs, will still be inspired by him. Though he is no longer alive, his place, and ideas in the world will not be forgotten.

Steve Jobs was a significant figure in the technology industry. He created the first personal computer which was one of the greatest inventions of the last century, now many people have personal computers and never give it a second thought. He also invented many other useful technologies. Some of those include the ipod, the iphone, and the ipad. I personally have an ipod which I think is a very cool electronic device. I am also typing this on a personal computer which would not be something that a student my age 50 years ago would not have access to and I can definitely appreciate it because, if I did not have one there is no way I could be doing this assignment.
I feel that now that Steve Jobs has died that there will be a major struggle between companies to become a technology giant like Apple is some companies that could emerge as a technology powerhouse would be; HP, Compaq, and Toshiba. I think that Apple will continue to produce products but they will not be quite as inspired and innovative as when Jobs was alive.

I can recall coming into contact many times with Steve Jobs’ inventions and/or Apple Products in my lifetime. In school and at home, I have used iMacs, and I also own iPods. I believe that technological advances like these help make life simpler. With a computer, communication is so much easier and reliable than snail mail. 50 years ago, in the past, people didn’t have access to such complex and developed technologies. Although the new age of technology is becoming more prevalent in today’s society, it does have its cons. To those of us in my generation who have grown up with using computers and all, it’s easy for us to navigate them, but to those who have not grown up with these developments, learning how to access newer technologies is difficult.

I believe that Apple has lost someone very important and dear to the company. Steve Jobs was a visionary and Apple was his vision. I think that without his direction, the company might struggle a little bit, but then again, the company has also established a very popular name for itself, so they will not struggle for long. Also, I strongly believe that Apple will continue to institute new and intuitive ideas with inspiration from the works and inventions of the mastermind himself, Steve Jobs.

As we mourn the man who has brought this century's technology so far, it is a good time to reflect. We all remember the time we saw the first iPhone and marveled at its brilliance, we probably also remember being the envy of all your friends and family by owning such a device, or perhaps being on the other end of the envy. I myself am a proud owner of a macbook and without it i probably wouldn't be writing this blog post. Then there was the ipad: the grand finale, the "Electric Ladyland" of Jobs' creations. After this milestone was reached, people were astounded; I know I was! And, fitting with my "Electric Ladyland" metaphor, the creator died a premature death soon after. We will miss you Steve Jobs, and we can only wonder what sort of "Band of Gypsies" you would have come up with if you were still around. But unfortunately, the problem with creating something popular is that people who don't own his creations are alienated by the majority in society who do. Someone owning a pencil could be considered laughable by the next turn of the century and I suppose this could be directly related to Jobs. For better or for worse, the innovations are there, and I guess we'll all have to live with the burden of being able to check our stocks at the drop of a hat.

Steve did a lot, and one of those things is inspiring people. And no, I am not talking about Microsoft and sony's insatiable desire to copy and paste everything Apple has done well. I am talking about the generation who grew up with Jobs' inventions, in other words my generation. There are now millions of young people who now believe that the iPad and the Mac are the status quo and I think that people will begin trying to top it.

Many of his products affect me on a daily basis. I have iTunes on my computer, and an iPod that I listen to. More importantly, I am using a personal computer even now. This assignment is a good example of how advanced technology is used for school, or for work. Everyone uses technology, most of it that couldn’t exist or be nearly as advanced without Steve Jobs. People 50 years ago would write out all their papers, but now the cultural norm is to type it out. We do many things with the fast technology that people before us couldn’t have even thought of. We are learning to be technologically dependent and anyone who is not used to it is being left behind. People have to be trained or they have trouble being up to date in the business world. Not knowing how to use computers has become the same thing as not having a very high paying job.
I think that technology, especially from the apple company will slow down a little bit. While Job’s genius will not be able to continue creating, he leaves behind his plans, and all the people he trained and associated with. Soon, I feel technology will continue to grow, reveling in his honor. I know that companies learn from other companies’ triumphs, and their mistakes. I think that in his wake, people will continue to learn and grow.

Job’s first creations that impacted my life were the computer mouse and personal computer. I can’t remember a time when they didn’t exist. I used them to play games when I first started with them. Later I used them for homework and an excellent research tool. Its due to Steve Jobs you no longer have to hope you’ll find the right thing at the library. Its so convenient. The other things that have impacted my life are the I Pod and I Tunes. When I was younger I always listened to the radio and went and got CD’s to listen to music. I had a large collection of them and a CD player. Then came I Tunes. Now it costs a lot less to get music and you can buy it without going out. I got my first I Pod on my 10th birthday. I still have it to this day. People 50 years ago would have to search the library for an hour to research and go out to the store to buy their CD’s. I haven’t bought a CD for myself in 4 years. However people who aren’t technically savvy with the new inventions probably feel their way of life is disappearing. Technology is taking over in their minds. Others may be struggling to keep up but wish to have the convenience of those who are tech savvy.
I think technology will be stifled by the lost of Steve Job’s. Apple can easily carry on with what he’s done but they can’t think for Steve. All these idea of advancement and how it could be done belonged to him. However it may begin to grow again slowly due to the inspiration of Job’s and the agony of his loss. He thought to put a computer into a phone. If he hadn’t my life wouldn’t have been the same. He changed the life’s of a lot of people because he could think outside the box in ways others couldn’t. However its possible the company will prevail and people he worked closely with will find a way to carry on his work.

I came into contact with many apple products over my life. I always remember that my mom had a mac computer and later me and my brother shared one. The personal computer has imprinted itself on me by allowing me to use a computer to search the internet or play games on it. I also have an I-pod which I use a lot. this has allowed me to basically have a computer in my hand and take it everywhere I went. he has combined a phone, computer, and gaming console into one thing and this has greatly helped make life easier and allowed for a lot more to be done than before. Less tech savvy people are probably very confused with all the things you can do on an I-phone. For example mister Waters told me about his mother who thinks cellphones are all just computers and doesn't like them.

I think that technology will continue to grow with the loss of Steve Jobs, but will be different. It will be less controlled to follow the lines of how Jobs used to make everything. It says he used to tweak everything until it was perfect and I think that precision will be gone. Overall though I think that technology will continue to develop in the future.

In my lifetime, I have come into contact with numerous Apple products. Life without Ipods, macs, iPhones, and other Apple creations would be incredibly different. In 1997, when Steve Jobs came back to Apple (after co-founding the company) the profits and distribution of Apple products skyrocketed immensely. This is just one example of Steve Job's influence. He believed that the design and overall aesthetic of a product was just as important as outstanding engineering. When you put those two elements together, you get amazing results, including Apple becoming one of the world's most profitable companies.

Even with the passing of Steve Jobs, I do not believe that Apple will come to a stand-still. Although he was the CEO, and had the idea for Apple should be, he was not the only one working there. There were probably countless designers and engineers that worked extremely hard to get Apple to where it is today. That being said, it might be challenging for the company to pull through and still be successful after their lead visionary has gone.

I believe Steve Jobs helped form the way we live today. If it were not for Steve jobs, many of us would not have phones, or MP3 players. If he had not invented the personal computer, I would probably not be typing this right now. I would not have my iPod, and my other family members would not have their iPhones. This technology has allowed mankind to make new discoveries, and discover new ways to learn. 50 years from now, there were no small computers, and people had to listen to music via cassettes. One of the problems involving these new kinds of technology is technology over use, but that is mostly the fault of the user. This huge industry has also opened up many new career opportunities all over the world.
Thanks to Steve Jobs, the world is very fast and filled with useful and beneficial technology. Steve Jobs was a passionate leader who is believed to be a prodigy, and started his work very young. For someone who started out with so little, it really is amazing to see what he has accomplished. I believe the Apple company will continue to function, but they have lost their leader and may never be able to function as apparently seamlessly as they did with Jobs leading them.

With Steve Jobs, we see the story of someone talented enough to make something amazing from just an idea. Throughout my entire life, I have lived in the new generation of technology, much of which was widely influenced by this man. Not only did Steve Jobs invent all these fancy music playing and picture making contraptions in the iPod and iMac, he also revolutionized the design quality of all electronics. Stuff like this has made our life much more convenient, social, and communicative with all these programs that allows people to communicate with others better. Along with this, the flood of technological entertainment had brought happy, obese people. Instead of playing outside like kids 50 years ago, we're playing Angry Birds.

Steve Jobs was such a big influence to all technology, but there is no way the growth of technology will be hindered whatsoever. Just because this one man is gone, technology won't break down and revert to rocks and sticks. There isn't any time period where technology has weakened. If anything at all, it will have just hit a tiny bump in the road that will be paved over very soon. Other leaders and innovators will rise and bring new ideas that will revolutionize technology once again.

I have come in contact with many of Steve Jobs’ creations, including the iPod, iPad, iPhone, iTunes, mouse, and personal computer. In current times, we are able to search for things easier and faster with these inventions. We are able to combine the internet, books, entertainment, and tools into one device. These devices are portable, and allow us to do whatever we want on the go. Entertainment and tools such as calculators are also easily carried around, and can be taken out and used quickly. Some disadvantages non-tech savvy people have are that they are behind others in the technological age. They are not familiar with the new kinds of devices and technology that we have, and are unable to use the easier methods of certain tasks.
I think that Apple may be slowed down a little bit at the beginning, but will not suffer disastrous results because of Steve Jobs’ death. The world is perfectly capable of moving on its own, especially with the other bright people in the world. Steve Jobs has set a base for the growing technology we have. Because of his new ideas, we will be able to come up with ideas of our own based on his creations.

The colossal and sustained company Apple has provided trouble-free technology that has helped people and will for generations. The nifty, ingenious products such as the iPod, iPad, MacBook (and other Mac computers), iPhone, iTunes, Apple TV, Apple accessories, also Pixar, and not to forget the famous touch-screen invention, have all come in contact with my life. I own an iPod touch and I was surprised the little thing could do almost anything. I have never seen such a sophisticated but easy way to store music, when I was used to hooking an mp3 player up to a computer and wait for the most wasteful hours just to download ten songs. All it takes now is the slightest tap of a finger, about $2, five seconds, and voila! You just bought ‘whip my hair’ by Willow Smith even though I have no clue why the heck you would do such a thing. My dad told me about his families first computer, the Apple II plus. He got it when he was fifteen and was utterly fascinated by it. At that age he began to program his own videogames and shared them. I was told that the script for a ‘space invaders’ that he typed was about eight feet long on printer paper in size 12 font. So, if it weren’t for apple, my dad would have a pretty rough time earning his masters degree in software modeling and engineering.

Steve Jobs’ death won’t influence Apple’s future that much. I mean to say this in the least possible offensive way, but all he did was share them with humanity; he didn’t create any of the devices (except for the first couple wooden apple computers). Most of the technology he presented wasn’t even thought up by him, like the touch sensor. But, he was a great founder who pressed on his company and made mankind benefit from his corporation.

I am not a big fan of Apple products I usually prefer droids. I think the Ipod has changed my life because it entertains me when I am bored. I think it would have been pretty boring in the 1950's without Iods or phones. These advancements in technology make people who are not techno savvy feel out of it.
I think that technology needs to grow and with Steve jobs dieing it will affect it greatly. I think that we need further advancements in technology to help us create technology that will be a substitute for gas once we run out. I think things won't be the same without Steve Jobs.

The first time I came in contact with an apple product was in fifth grade, when my mom's friend gave her an Ipod as a gift because she left her job. To be honest, this object didn't really influence my life. With no Apple products in my household other than two Ipods, an Iphone, and more recently an Ipad(the latter two I am not allowed to touch or use in any way), It is difficult to say that my life has been influence by apple products. However, I do appreciate how Apple has influence the world as a whole. Apple revolutionized not just music but all media purchasing with Itunes, to the point where some artists and groups have stopped using discs to sell music, only selling it through downloads. The Itouch an Iphone have also revolutionized communication and technology in general because of their ambiguity. They are like a phone, game system, mp3 player, movie player, calculator, gps, book, and hundreds of other applications all rolled into one piece of technology. Although Apple did not pioneer the smartphone, the Iphone made it mainstream. now, instead of carrying around many different pieces of technology, you can do many many more things with just one.

While Steve Jobs was undoubtedly a genius pioneer of the information age, he did not create all of these things alone. He hired many capable people at Apple, and they will not let the company down. Also, as a front runner in the
technology world, Apple created a path for others to follow. Now, other great innovators will create new and exciting technologies based on the foundation Steve Jobs laid.

  58. As a teenager, I have obtained many Apple products over the years; I’m thankful to Steve Jobs and the Apple Company for their enhancements in technology and providing me and thousands among thousands of people with their products. I am privileged to use my Macbook, iPhone, and iPod. I use them to research, write, do projects, use recreationally and communicate with others. They have all provided me with advantages that were not around 50 years ago. My grandparents didn’t have the same resources that I have today. Because of Steve Jobs and his technological community, I can do more research and less time than my grandparents could.

Although, Steve Jobs supplemented the technological world greatly, I think there are people that exist and may possibly have been inspired by him to then further the advancement of technology even more. I think many people helped and inspired Steve Jobs and were mentors just like he was, and this world will never be at loss of people who are just as technologically motivated as Jobs. I am proud to have had the opportunity and privilege to use his products and I know there will be many more products to come because of Steve Jobs.

Throughout my life I have come in contact with many of Apples products. I can remember being taught how to use an Apple Personal Computer as early as first grade. I also remember getting my first iPod for Christmas in 3rd grade. I have used a variety of Steve Jobs' products. I have used an iPod, iPhone, iMac, iTouch and iPad. They have really impacted me. They have made things like listening to music or communicating with friends or even projects for school much, much simpler. I think that compared to people of fifty years ago this technology has made my life much easier and less stressful. These new technologies however have put people who aren't as technologically savvy at a fault. With new technology becoming increasingly more complex it will make life much harder for those people because they will not know how to fully utilize it.
I believe that new cutting edge technology will continue to be produced even in the absence of technologies major innovator. However I don't think that the technology will be as quality or as creative without Steve Jobs.

Steve Jobs lived a very successful life and went far with his career in technology. His creations of the ipad, iPhone, itunes and many more have made using technology efficient, intriguing and fun. America has become frequent users of his work. I know I often use itunes so that I don't have to buy a whole album for one song, and enjoy playing on other people's iPhones and ipads. My ipod is constantly used when I run and when want to listen to specific songs. I don't have an iPhone, but I always see my friends using theirs to search songs on YouTube or playing with their apps, and it really shows how much Jobs has done for anyone and everyone who uses his material. They may not know who created some of their most used electronic devices, though most all come from this one man. My computer at home is thanks to him, along with the computer mouse I use. Without this equipment, it would be really hard and a lot of extra work to do research and projects for school. I am grateful to have my computer to help me with work and to things like Facebook. However, those who aren't so great with new technology may have a little trouble using his technology. If they took long enough to figure it out and had a little help, I'm sure they would find it useful as well. I believe what he has invented is amazing and a great help to all of the businesses, schools and people who use his inventions.

I'm not sure how Apple will continue to grow after their loss, though I do think Jobs did quite a lot for them before he passed. The company has performed well without him in the past, though they did have his presence in big decisions. I still believe the employees in this company have enough experience to get through this tough time and proceed in their business. Apple is a smart company and knows how to recover if they fall back. I hope for their sake that they will remain successful and I know they can.

In Steve Jobs lifetime, I have used an Ipod, Ipad, Mac, and Itunes. It has helped me in many ways. For one thing, they are more convenient. Instead of buying CD’s and uploading them, I can just download them with Itunes. Also an Ipad is pretty much a portable computer, which comes in handy when needing to research or find something quickly. 50 years ago, people had to put in records and they had to read newspapers, but now people can just get music pretty much in 30 seconds by downloading music off of Itunes and getting a World News App for an Itouch or Ipad. Some of the disadvantages could be that they can be complicated to use, and some are very small. For example, the Itouch is very tiny and portable, so it may be harder to type in letter s for some people.
I think that the death of Steve Jobs definitely impacted the way technology will be made in the future. Without the chief innovator of Apple, ideas for new products may not come as bright or amazing as he had them. Also, the person who will now be in charge of Apple could have a different way of thinking of new items for the future. I do believe that Steve Jobs will be remembered and people will want to continue what he has done and how he has improved modern day technology on to a whole new level. I think people will want to continue that legacy.

Steve Jobs was a talented man who certainly changed the world by revolutionizing the world of electronics. I’ve seen and used many of Job’s products through my life. In elementary school, I remember using the old Mac computers for pretty much everything computer related. More recently, I obtained an iPod. While I don’t use it that much, it definitely is a big step up from the old mp3s that I used to use. While Jobs has made accessing knowledge very convenient for us, it might not be such a good thing. Jobs’ inventions have given us things like instant Google search for information and access to Facebook and Twitter to keep up with the latest news, which are things that we take for granted. Many people in rural areas are too poor to own a computer or have internet, and for people who lived 50 years ago this kind of technology was almost unimaginable. People who are poor or elderly generally have a harder time with new technology; having not grown up with it or not being able to afford it they have a harder time learning and adapting to these things. However, these people often have better social interactions with others and don’t hurt their health by sitting in front of a computer all day.

I believe that technology will continue to grow even without Steve Jobs. Many advances in technology have been achieved in recent years, some without being involved with him. While most of today’s technology is certainly based on his work, there is no reason why his death would impede progress. As for Apple, they can still develop new products and continue to make money. While they may lose a good spokesperson, Apple has other people that are just as capable of continuing on for him.

Steve Jobs was a very important person when it comes to forming the modern culture of America. We would be much further behind in technology if it weren’t for his many inventions, such as the ipad, itouch, and his other inventions. It is close to impossible to go a day without using your personal Apple computer, seeing something from Pixar on T.V., or using your iphone. Personally, my family uses Apple products a lot. My mom has an iphone, my dad uses an ipad for his work, and both my sister and I have iPods. Life 50 years ago would have been a lot different, because there was virtually no portable technology. You couldn’t go on a jog with your favorite music, or have a very sleek and portable computer to take with you on trips. Although this all might seem great, it has not been so great for people who have a harder time controlling all of the technology, which they have to do on a close-to daily basis. It took my mom forever to learn how to use her iphone, she has had it for a year and she just learned that it can hold and play music. For the future though, the younger generations are becoming more and more tech-savvy.
With the death of Steve Jobs, I don’t think that the waves of new technology are going to stop at all. If anything other inventors will now get a chance to try their own ideas. Although he was the mind behind so many of Apple’s products, he isn’t the only inventor out there, and other inventors might have great ideas that just haven’t seen the light yet.

Throughout my life I have used or came in contact with several of Steve Jobs inventions. I've used an IPod, IPad, ITunes, computer mouse, and personal computer. i think that almost everyone in this country can agree that he has contributed to our nations advancements in many ways. He has life easier for many people including me. I use my Ipod everyday when I want to listen to music or to keep in touch with my friends. Apple has really helped me and other people out.
I think that technology will continue to grow with the loss of Steve Jobs, but will be different. Apple is progressing quickly and it will keep on going with out him. Apple may not have as big ideas as before but, I believe that the company will continue to sell products and make money successfully. Technology will never be the same without Steve Jobs and he will be missed.

I have come into contact with a lot of Steve Jobs’ products. I have an Ipod, Ipad, Itunes, Imac, Itouch, computer mouse, and a personal computer. I also watch many Pixar movies. Many of these technologies have made life more entertaining for me. I almost constantly listen to music from my Itouch and I love watching Pixar movies. The personal computer has made it easier for me to get work done and to communicate with my friends. People 50 years ago had to buy CD/albums in order to listen to music while I can just download it from Itunes. Also, it took longer for people to communicate from far distances. They did not have a very easy way to access information from one place either. While these technologies are useful for some of us, others have a hard time using them. Our society has come to rely on many of the technologies that Steve Jobs created. If you don’t know how to use them, it is harder to find information and to communicate with people. Many people rely on technology for entertainment so they might not be able to connect over the same things as other people.
I think Apple will be able to continue inventing new technologies. Steve Jobs wasn’t the only inventor for Apple and there are many great inventors in the world. Many people worked together to create the finished products, not just Jobs. Also, Apple has ideas that they could just improve on, like the Ipad. It is a great idea and I don’t doubt that there will be new generations of it coming out soon. Jobs wasn’t the only inventor, I am sure Apple can find a new one soon.

I remember when the I-Pod touch, the MacBook Pro, I-Pad and the I-Phone came out. I personally use the I-Pod touch and MacBook Pro. The MacBook Pro has definently changed the way people do things. For instance people can now make scrap books and picture books digitally and they can even make movies. I-Pod Touches change the way people listen to music and even socialize. Some people who are less inclined to use technology may have issues in the future because many things that used to be on paper are now on computers, such as letters changing into emails.

I believe that technology will continue to grow without Steve Jobs, he was a major contibutor to it but there are many other people who will take on his job. He started the competition for better and better technology. He will be missed but there will be new people in the future that will carry on his legacy. I hope that Apple will continue to be a leader in innovative technology.

  67. With Reading the article about Steve Jobs, it was pretty good. It was sad to hear that he had died just a few days ago. He has helped a lot of people by introducing another technology product. I have experienced all of his products and they are all some. The one that I really like is the iPod. From my perspective I think that the IPod is the best one out of all of them. I know that people say that the iPhone is the best but, I disagree. The ipod is just like a phone but it can do exactly what a phone does. A phone will have service all the time but with iPods, you have to have Wi-Fi (internet access) in order to Call, Text, Browse the web etc. With the iPhone you do exactly the same thing but you get access to 3G and 4G. The 3G and the 4G allows you to call, text, and Browse the web. With iPods you really don’t have disadvantages because the inventor made it in a special way. Like the battery, you can never take the battery out of any of the Pods because they never glitch and they never have problems. The other problem most people have it when the Pods drop they crack because they don’t have a lot of protection.

Technology with not stop growing and that’s a fact. Apple will not stop because Steve Jobs had workers that will keep working until it’s time to stop. As far as inventing another product like Apple, it might be hard to do. Apple has made a lot of money because the items are great. In my opinion I don’t think that no one can really make something better than ipods .Apple has made a lot of people appreciate its work and I hope it stays that way.

Steve Jobs had a very successful life-term. I owned a few of his inventions such as an Apple laptop, iPod touch with an iTune account, as well as an iPad. He developed many products to help improve the technology. Without the "i" products technology wouldn’t be the same. Steve Jobs improved current technology by making successful inventions. He also reunited technology by being able to listen to old/modern music on iPods. It also has downfalls because people get distracted and interact a lot with the Apple products which keeps them from being able to complete other important tasks.

In my opinion Steve Jobs had great inventions and was very successful in approving today’s society. Apple products may sell more now that he’s gone in his honor. There also might be a downfall because he’s no longer here to improve his products. Apple will never be the same without Steve Jobs. R.I.P

I think Steve Jobs has had a major effect on the world. He took a growingly complicated computer and turned it into zero button machines. I have an Ipod touch, and it is extremely easy to use. He shows that a simple idea can sometimes have the greatest effect. I find no disadvantages with his devices(besides the expense).

I think that the death of Steve Jobs will not affect his company much. He already developed a process for making new things, they just have to follow his designs. I think that apple will continue to develop for a long time.

I have never known an age without apple technology. All of the apple tech as changed the lives of millions. Ever since the first PC apple has never turned back with there inventions. The I pod revolutionized the way that millions of people listen to there music. When the Mac was made and perfected it changed the ways of internet forever. When the I phone was made the world was in a tizzy trying to get there hands on one. The I Pad was just amazing. Steve Jobs made fantasy come to life. I fell like if i lived 50 years ago i would be so bored all the time.

Steve Jobs was such a big influence to all technology, but there is no way the growth of technology will be hindered. Technology won't just fail because of ones man death. This was a very tragic moment in the world but it wont slow down the advancements.Other leaders and innovators will rise and bring new ideas that will revolutionize technology once again.

I think that Steve Jobs left an amazing legacy. All of the fantastic innovations he has integrated into our current society will last for may years to come. How many people do you know that do not own, even used, an Apple product? Not many right? Most recently, the iPad, iMac, iPhone, and most popular of all the iPod.

Even though he has left so many great inventions for the world to use, there is alot of a convtraversy over his early life, it was intertwinded with drugs and dropping out of college. Overall though, I think that he was an amazing man and should be respected, even though some people doubted his former ways.

The death of Steve Jobs was a tragic one. He was a great innovator and changed the way people think today. I have used almost every device he and Apple created. I believe that Steve Jobs and Apple have set the bar to which all other electronic devices and computers are compared to. I use my Ipod touch almost everday and I believe it is one of the best devices on the market. Steve Jobs will surely go down in history.

I believe that Apple should still do well after the death of Steve Jobs. Apple has some great workers who will know how to make new devices and computers. Technology is always moving forward at an extremely fast pace. Steve Jobs changed the way people use technology. He will surely be missed, but technology will still move on. Steve Jobs will surely be remebered for a very long time. I am even writing this current event blog on my itouch.

I t is tragic that Steve jobs died at 56. It's not a young age but he wasn't extremely old. Steve jobs left a huge mark on the world. He reinvented technology as we know it and who knows where we'd be without him. Apple sells lots of products and the majority of people have one. The most recent ones being the iPad, iPhone, Macbook, iMac, and iPod.

Technology will never stop advancing and there will always be new amazing things coming out. That being said the death of Steve jobs will definitely slow that process, at least for apple. There are still great minds out there, but Steve jobs was one in a million. He may not have created all of these devices himself but he probably came up with idea for most of them.

Although I haven't had the luxary of owning the ipad, mac, or ipod I have encountered and explored their features. Products of Apple have remaind relevant during my lifetime and as I get older the Technology involved with them advances. Steve Job created devices that stirred my generation with excitement and left us waiting for the next best thing. Job's innovations have given people the opportunity to advance their knowledge on technology and influence them to create applications that can be used within the Apple devices.

The death of Steve Job has struck his consumers leaving them questionable about the continuation of these hi-tech devices. Will apple continue Jobs legacy or will it allow its competitors to steal the spotlight? Hopefully we will continue seeing these wonderful inovations and remain on edge about their next production.
